Old Oswestry Hillfort has parking a quarter-mile walk away. National Trust countryside parking can have different arrangements from admission to a house or garden.

A car park does not guarantee a level or surfaced walk. Take account of slopes, gates, livestock and recent rain, and keep an easier option in reserve.
