Gather a clear description
Keep a recent photo, the last-seen location and time, collar details and microchip information ready. Contact your microchip provider and local vets.
If you find a dog
Note its location and description. Do not put yourself or the dog at risk by chasing or forcing contact. Use the council’s current found-dog guidance and report the sighting.
Policies and access can change. Confirm details with the venue before a special journey.
